WHAT DID YOU FIND MOST BENEFICIAL ABOUT YOUR INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE?

I interned at the Philadelphia Business Journal. The single most beneficial part were the contacts I made at the events I attended. There are three or four jobs lined up when I graduate all thanks to that experience.

Advertising is…

…the unyielding exposure of dark silhouettes dancing fashionably across the television screen, as if they were born accustomed to the constant change in background colors and trendy songs.

For many advertising is viewed as one more ploy to convince the public to crave unnecessary items. People claim it is an “artsy infringement” or an onslaught in “abstract attraction” of persuasive purchase power.

To you, it creates the crest of the cultural curve in creative capitalism. It is “Built Ford Tough” “Think Different,” and “Good to the Last Drop.” It is American culture constructed by a fusion of diverse branding strategies and foundations of creative judgments; the literal and metaphorical mixture of strong black coffee, enduring ice, and vivid flavors blended then branded as a Frappuccino. There are no rules, restrictions, or constraints.

Some call it trendsetting, or deem it early adoption, but to you, it’s Advertising.
