Assistant Professor Scott Gratson, StOC, COMM, was presented with the University Faculty Advising Award May 5. This award is given to annually to one faculty advisor who assists undergraduate students in making decisions that affect their academic progress at Temple University by providing personal guidance to students, helping them to interpret university and college policies and to make sense of their student records. The following are some of the criteria for this award: Demonstrate care and nurturing of advisees, have exemplary interpersonal skills, make a significant contribution to quality academic advising, and inspire colleagues and advisees to reach their full potential. Gratson is the first person from SCT to receive this award.
