Dr. Wright joined Temple in August 2004 after completing his MA and Ph.D. at Purdue University. His areas of interest include communication theory (specifically phenomenology and post-modern theory), identity construction, social movement rhetoric, and political communication. Dr. Wright actively participates in the university community as a faculty representative on the Temple University Senate, the General Education Executive Committee, and faculty adviser for the student honors organization Lambda Pi Eta. He also serves as the Course Director for the public speaking program.
When not teaching, Dr. Wright enjoys reading science fiction novels, hiking, and playing with his children.
