FMA Alum, 2012 Pew Fellow in the Arts, To Return and Screen New Film in FMA.

FMA Alum Deron Albright (MFA ’98), will screen his award winning film, The Destiny of Lesser Animals, Thurs Nov 1, 6:30pm Tuttleman Learning Center, Rm 101. Free and open to the public.

Professor Albright, Saint Joseph’s University, was the recipient of a Fulbright Senior Scholar Fellowship to Ghana for 2008-09, where he taught advanced directing courses at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) of Ghana and worked to realize his dream of bringing his feature directorial debut, The Destiny of Lesser Animals ( Sibo ne kra,Dabo ne kra ) to fruition.

Albright’s visit to Temple was initiated through the Pew Artist-to-Artist program. He will be introduced by Film and Media Arts Professor Peter d’Agostino, Pew Fellow, 1992.
