Scholarships
The Film and Media Arts department has a number of scholarships available to students studying in Los Angeles each semester. These are awarded based on demonstrated academic merit and financial need. All interested students are encouraged to fill out the application form here. *(Given limited resources, SMC students who are eligible for Lew Klein Funding will not be eligible for LA Study Away Scholarships. Undergraduate tuition for full-time students (12-17 credits)
PA state residents: $6,503
Out-of-state residents: $11,416
Graduate Tuition
PA state residents: $687 per credit, plus university fee of up to $295
Out-of-state residents: $961 per credit, plus university fee of up to $295
Housing
$3,597* *(Current rate for Spring 2013)
Pays for a fully equipped apartment (including furniture, silverware, glassware, plates, small appliances and linens).
Other expenses:

Activity fee: $125*
Car rental (if needed): approximately $545/month for an economy car
Flight to Los Angeles (if needed): approximately $400 round trip from Philadelphia
Personal spending money (food, fun and gas): approximately $2500
