San Francisco Bay Area Summer Program

**Open to All Majors and Schools**

The San Francisco Bay Area Program provides students with academic, experiential learning and professional experiences in new media technologies, film, art, and ecology that are unique to the San Francisco Bay area. Internships are available in Berkeley, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley.

The University of California, Berkeley campus serves as our base for undergraduate and graduate coursework, housing, and special events. It is an ideal location to access the Bay Area Rapid Transit system (BART) to attend lectures, internships, events and excursions.

Priority deadline – December 9, 2013
Regular deadline – February 28, 2014

Program Dates
May 26 – August 8, 2014

Program Highlights 

  • Take courses that provide a variety of perspectives on the fields of new media, film, arts, and ecology.
  • Intern at major technical, business, film, new media and arts organizations in and around Berkeley, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley
  • Be exposed to opportunities for networking, career entry strategies and other career resources.
  • Attend special events, lectures and film screenings at Berkeley Art Museum / Pacific Film Archive.
