Philadelphia Neighborhoods earns EPPY Award

Philadelphia Neighborhoods, the news site created by the Journalism Department’s capstone class, won a 2012 EPPY Award for Best College University Journalism Website.

The EPPYs are awarded annually by Editor & Publisher.

“The award from Editor & Publisher confirms the exceptional quality of the reporting of Temple journalism students,” said Professor Chris Harper,  co-director of the Multimedia Urban Reporting Lab, which publishes Philadelphia Neighborhoods. “An EPPY is one of the highest honors in the field.”
