Our students have the opportunity to study in London, Tokyo, Ireland, Italy and other places around the world. Temple University offers more than a dozen international programs to its undergraduate students. The programs below are specifically designed for students in the School of Communications and Theater.

Japanese Media and Global Culture Workshop

This 5-week, 6-credit workshop focuses on different aspects of Japanese media including television, magazines, music, anime, manga and film. Through the study of these media, the workshop explores different dimensions of Japanese traditional and contemporary culture in an increasingly globalized world. The workshop is taught at Temple University Japan in Tokyo by Journalism faculty Dr. Fabienne Darling-Wolf and runs from May 31 to July 6. Read more…

Temple Dublin

The Temple Dublin program allows students to experience the old Dublin and the new Dublin within a challenging academic experience. Students will survey the traditions of Irish literature, history, and culture and analyze contemporary Irish journalism, advertising, television and radio programming, film, and theater. Read more…
