Palu’s work has been featured in The New York Times, TIME, Newsweek, The Atlantic, BBC and Sunday Times Magazine and many others. His work is in the permanent collections of many museums and archives including The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, George Eastman House, Harry Ransom Center, National Gallery of Canada and has been exhibited in the Baltimore Museum of Art.
Palu is best known for his long-term studies of social and political issues, which includes projects such as, 12-years examining mining communities in Canada, five years covering the conflict in Kandahar, Afghanistan, and ongoing long term projects on the U.S. prison in Guantanamo Bay and U.S.-Mexico border.
