Use this tutorial ONLY if you are having trouble downloading or using the zip file of custom settings provided here.
First, click the plus (+) button (highlighted in green below) in the Settings window and select QuickTime Movie.
Then click the Encoder botton (highlighted in green below) in the Inspector window. Go to Window > Show Inspector in the top navigation bar if Inspector is not already open. Enter the title as Master File – Apple ProRes 422 where it is highlighted in purple. Set Audio to Pass-through. Then click the Settings… button next to Video.
Set the Compression Type to Apple ProRes 422, then click OK.
Click the Geometry button (green below) and change the Frame Size to 100% of source. Then press Save.
The go to Edit > Select All to select all your video clips and drag your new custom settings from the Settings window to where it says Drag Settings and Destinations Here.
To change where these files are saved, right click on Source > Destination > Other and select the appropriate folder.
Select the kind of footage you are using below to make a custom web compression setting.
