Most Strategic Communication majors complete an internship or a communication field experience before graduation, which allows them to receive academic credit for industry experience. Both types of real-world experience are strongly suggested, because they allow you to apply your skills to specific jobs and make valuable professional connections.
You can also find internship and communication field experience opportunities on the undergraduate Strategic Communication listserv, created especially for current students, prospective students and alumni. The listserv provides you with a wide variety of important information, including
